2-day intensive Russian as a foreign language training course «RUSSIAN FOR FOREIGNERS»

Training goals

• To structure grammar basis of the Russian language and practice gained knowledge on the spot
• To learn a stock of words and language clichés
• To develop reading and listening skills in Russian
• To practice every day communicative situations (“In a restaurant, in the shop, in the metro, in the office ” etc.)
• To overcome “Speaking barrier”, discomfort talking in Russian

Post-training results

On accomplishing the training a student is able to talk more or less freely to a shop assistant in a shop, to a waiter in a restaurant, to a driver in public transport, to a business partner at work in Russia. He is able to understand people in the streets and read signboards. Grammar knowledge has increased, structurized. More grammar constructions are added. The student Is able to speak in the present tense, ask questions correctly, make requests. The word order is right. Topics: “Agreeing/Disagreeing”, Simple sentences/Complex sentences”, “Comparison” e.t.c....

The student's vocabulary is enriched. All the known words and combinations before are pulled out into his active.

Timing and schedule

The classes are held in the so-called training format. It is such a technology of intensive learning, where the principal of constant activity changes is taken into account. Any class aims to provide the participant with maximum of communicational practice. Different role-plays are used for that purpose

Activities are constantly changing from one class to another. This lets the participant remain involved into the process, not get tired or bored, interact with the trainer and different people (in the office/outside the office), develop communicative skills and gain liveliness of communication in Russian.

The training schedule includes active games, grammar games, grammar drillings, communicative practice. Writing sessions, singing songs in Russian.

Intensive classes are held from 9.30 a.m. to 6 p.m. 2 days on a row in specially equipped classes of our center (walking distance from the Kievskaya metro station).

Total number of lessons – 20 academic hours.
